I collaborated with Ben Hantoot from SlickMill on the design of the game Cards Against Humanity. Our goal was to use as little design as possible to create an identity. We use almost exclusively white Helvetica on a black background (or the other way around), which has created a kind of stark, corporate look for this horrible game that we both think adds to its humor.
Ben and I collaborated on a memorable design for the game, including a custom chipboard box.
I created videos for the game’s Kickstarter campaign:
I’ve created two versions of the Cards Against Humanity website. Each offers digital downloads of the game for free, as well as instructions and rules. The most recent website was also designed to promote our Kickstarter drive. The website uses the jQuery library with the jQuery Cycle plugin to create the “card shuffling” effect that works across all browsers, including iOS.
I am not the only creator or writer of Cards Against Humanity. I am responsible for the packaging and the website – not the content of the game.
